Welcome to the EddiePatin.com pages of Business and Finances, specifically my

"Independent Profit Center"

pages!!

On these pages, you will find collections of articles and information, revolving around the Independent Profit Center, and about various aspects of:
  • Network Marketing
  • Building profitable businesses
  • Internet Marketing and Advertising
  • Achieving financial freedom
The Independent Profit Center is a network marketing business opportunity that launched in early 2008 and has already made thousands upon thousands of dollars for internet-based entrepreneurs all around the world, as well as setting up everyone involved in the program with phenominal residual income (read: passive cashflow) that will last for years to come.

I became involved with the Independent Profit Center in the beginning of 2009, after several weeks of researching the program, and have developed this website to provide education to those of you interested in good business opportunities, as well as an account of my experience with IPC.

Note: IPC is a FRAUD

I have determined that doing business with the Independent Profit Center is unethical for a number of reasons, and have decided to end my involvement with the company. I have left this site and its articles and videos up for two reasons:
  1. The articles and videos I made go over more than just IPC, and are still useful and informative about business and the mindsets and skills necessary to achieve financial freedom.
  2. Any web traffic I am generating here will help expose the truth about IPC.
I have determined that the Independent Profit Center is not a legitimate network marketing system, but is an illegal pyramid scheme. (I say illegal because pyramid schemes are illegal in the US and many other countries.)

For a network marketing business system to be legitimate (and I totally support legitimate MLM's--they're great ways to learn business), it has to offer a real, substantial product. The Independent Profit Center's 'product' is a bundle of ebooks and software used for internet marketing. In actuality, the ebooks and software is a bunch of useless junk hacked together by a collection of internet marketing scammers. The ebooks are poorly written and riddled with amateurish mistakes, and the programs are useless mini-executables that don't really do much. One of the software products is even imbedded with a Trojan virus.

The 'product' bundle offered by IPC is just a front (a facade) to make it look like a legitimate company by actually having a product, as opposed to a pyramid scheme, which makes money solely on the recruitment of affiliates. And affiliate recruitment is all IPC focuses on.

Another less important point about IPC, but still something to consider, is that IPC, as a product, as a business, is touted to 'sell itself'. The automated, replicated website (like my BiggerCashflow.com) is supposed to do all the selling. The training, and my sponsor, instructed me to just focus on marketing--generating traffic to the site. The site, as offered as a 97% automated, self-selling product*, cannot close the deal. Between the end of Jan 2009 and mid-March 2009, I've gathered a mailing list of over 100 prospects at any point in time (between new signups and unsubscribers), and I've had 21 signups. Not a single signup ever made their payments. The system can't close the deal. And before you think I'm one of those people who are sore with IPC because I refuse to sell, consider this:

Selling the IPC Program (aggressive sales) is discouraged by IPC. The way we're trained to operate the business is to focus solely on marketing, and answer (and follow up on) prospect's phone calls and questions. We're supposed to let the prospects decide for themselves, because only a certain type of mindset will see the value in and do well in this sort of business. Hard sales only result in resentful affiliates and charge-backs.

Well, I held up my end of the business, but IPC could not deliver what it offered.

I will be attempting to get my money back, and I will let you all know how that works out. IPC is not a legitimate MLM, because it has no (real) product (therefore is an illegal pyramid scheme), and will not give you what you are sold and pay for.

* I mention the word 'product' in two different contexts. Don't confuse them. There is 'product' as in what network marketing companies must offer to sell to consumers/customers to make them a legitimate business. There is also 'product' as in IPC offered me the 'product' of their business system that was not as advertised and could not deliver.
