The Nevada School of Construction
This is the school I attended for my heavy equipment training, based out of Las Vegas, NV, a member of the National Association of Heavy Equipment Training Schools (NAHETS). An excellent school, if a bit on the expensive side. Check out my "articles" section for a review and account of my time there. (Or click here.)

Frontier Environmental Services - This is the company I worked for as a heavy equipment operator (mostly a loader-hand) from June 2nd until September 11th, the summer and fall seasons of 2008. We've been restoring the Pikes Peak Highway, working this year on the top 1.5 miles, including the paving base of the road and two retention ponds. It's been a great time, and they're a great company to work for. Check out their project links (here), and you'll see a bit about the Pikes Peak project. For now, they only have last year (2007) listed, but keep an eye out for the update for 2008. (Or, just check out my own account here.)
